Guess what!  I’m a real adult now!  Kudos go to my grandpa Main who set this all up!!  No more relaying my personal life through facebook or myspace!  I hope that you’ll find this blog to be more than just about me and my life.  I hope and pray that you’ll find this blog will be used to inform people about some of the issues going on in our world.  Currently, I’ve just wrapped up a three week stint in Rwanda, Africa, and boy, are there some real needs there; not only physically, but spiritually as well.  Check out my “About Me” link to read more about the History of Rwanda and to better understand why I went there to minister.  Then, click on the previous post to see a few of the pictures I took, and to read about some of the people that I met while there.  It might take a while to go through them all, so feel free to just click on the ones that look interesting, or if you have a while, just click on the slideshow.  Jesus Christ was doing a major work in people’s lives while we were there, and hopefully these pics will just give you a snippett of what went on.  Here’s a few quick facts of what happened while we were there:

The Gospel was heard by over 1500 people:  about 1200 in the churches and 300 on the streets.

Tin roofs were supplied to a church ($800 worth) and to a public school ($1200)

5 kids were sponsered to go to school (i believe), 3 primary school ($50/child/year) and 2 secondary ($250/child/year)

302 Bibles were given out to Pastors, Youth Pastors, and Seminary students who had never recieved the word on their own.

2 Acoustic Guitars were given to two musically inclined youths who will use them in their church services

Sports equipment was given to churches and schools for the youth of the area

And many many other things occured that can’t be explained through the simplicity of a blog.  I hope you enjoy reading through all this, and please comment me with any thoughts or suggestions!
